oana is tier 1 in the romanian styling community. right now she is fashion director for glamour magazine, but we never know what’s next, we only know what was. name the magazine, she styled for them in the past. if you are condescending towards fashion you should know that oana graduated philosophy, she’s one of the active stylist for the all hollow online project and has joint custody of the hugest dog named ditch. addicted to starbucks coffee and her iphone, on the day of december 22nd we gave her the camera to snap twenty photos for us. we had no idea how many people she would aim the lens at.
“I’m sure you guys are familiar by now with a camera and what it does, so I’ll just say that when AK told me that I would get it soon and suggested that maybe I try to pick a special day to use it, I started thinking about what I could shoot when I got it, and also what are the things that make my day(s).
Now, I wanted a day that would be relevant for me and soon I came to the conclusion that it’s not my morning coffee or the road I take to work that makes my days special, but rather who I have coffee with and who I think of on my way to work. So there, I had my idea. For me it’s not so much about things or places, but the people in my life. Here are details of 20 people that for various and very personal reasons matter to me. I know some of them weren’t even aware of it, but yes, every person chosen is important because they changed my life in a big or small way, mostly for the better. The last photo is of my hand, and I took it at the last minute, because I decided to give up one of my choices.
In the end, my day with a camera, was pretty damn special, since I got to see all these people in 24 hours. It was a hell of a ride!”

nice! but would have been cool to know who these people are. right now it’s like a tune you like but you can’t understand what’s about as it’s in a foreign language …
well, andreea, these people are really close friends. some of them are in my life for a long time, a few are quite new. of course some of the pics are of my family, and others of people i work with, that for different reasons are special to me.
